Josh McGuire Heads to 201 this Weekend Following Bedford/Hagerstown

(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) The Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team was back on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail last weekend (April 24-25) in Pennsylvania and Maryland. On Friday night, the Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania played host to a $10,000 to win show. Josh McGuire finished fifth in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main, which forced him to take use of a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap main event. After starting twenty-third on the grid, Josh worked his #41 entry past six cars en route to a seventeenth place performance.

The historic Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland was up next for the #41 team on Saturday evening. Josh ran sixth in his competitive heat race and later suffered mechanical problems in his B-Main. The Grayson, Kentucky driver once again took a series provisional to earn the twenty-third starting spot in the $10,000 to win 'Stanley Schetrompf Classic.' Unfortunately, Josh suffered more problems during the pace laps prior to the 50-lap feature and was relegated to a disappointing twenty-sixth place finish. He now finds himself tied for seventh in the latest version of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point battle following Hagerstown. You can view complete results online at
