Josh McGuire Readies for Skyline and Florence Following IRS Tripleheader Weekend…

(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) The Josh McGuire Racing team has two big Dirt Late Model events on their weekend schedule for May 30-31! The Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio is up first, as the Buckeye State venue will play host to a $5,000 to win Independent Racing Series (IRS) show tonight, May 30. Josh McGuire has had much success at Skyline in the past, so look for his #41 to be a major factor in tonight's race. The Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky will then wrap up the weekend on Saturday, May 31. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the annual running of the 'Ralph Latham Memorial' on Saturday and a $10,000 top prize will be up for grabs. You can learn more about both races online at and

Josh piloted Tim Hall's racecar last weekend in a trio of Independent Racing Series (IRS) events in Ohio. After unfortunately failing to make the starting field on Friday, May 23 at the Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio and on Saturday, May 24 at the Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio, things went much smoother for the Grayson, Kentucky native in the weekend finale on Sunday. After finishing sixth in his heat race at the Cannonball Speedway in St. Clairsville, Ohio, Josh won his B-Main to advance to the $5,000 to win feature event. He then wound up driving through the stout field in the A-Main to record an impressive sixth place performance. You can view complete results from the Memorial Day holiday weekend online at
