Josh McGuire Plans to Attack Skyline and 201 this Weekend!

(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) Following a rare weekend off away from the racetrack, Josh McGuire and his #41 Dirt Late Model team trekked north to the Buckeye State of Ohio over the busy 4th of July holiday weekend. On Friday night, July 3, the JMR team found themselves at the Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the dirt-slinging action at Zanesville and a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs. Josh ran third in heat race action to transfer directly into the 50-lap main event where he later finished thirteenth in the final rundown.

Next up for the team was a trip to the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday, July 4. Unfortunately, Josh could not celebrate Independence Day with a bang, as Mother Nature wiped out the racing action at PRP on Saturday evening and postponed the $10,000 to win MACS race. You can view complete results from Zanesville on Friday night by accessing www.lucasdirt.com.

The Josh McGuire Racing team is currently prepping their equipment for a pair of weekend events in Ohio and Kentucky on July 10-11. The Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio will be the track of choice tonight, while the 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky will take center stage on Saturday evening. Both shows this weekend are regular weekly races. You can access additional information about both venues by pointing your web browser to www.skylinespeedway.net and www.race201.com.
