Josh McGuire to Debut New Car at Moler and Portsmouth this Weekend!

(GRAYSON, KENTUCKY) Josh McGuire, who was behind the wheel of Tim Hall's #11h entry, invaded the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on August 8-9 for the annual running of the 'North/South 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the historic Dirt Late Model event, which boasted a $50,000 top prize. Josh was third fastest in his group during qualifying on Friday evening, which earned him the coveted pole position for his heat race.

When the action resumed at the Cincinnati area venue on Saturday, Josh finished fifth in both his heat race and his B-Main. Unfortunately, those efforts were not good enough to transfer the Grayson, Kentucky native into the 100-lap main event, which was taped by the cameras of the SPEED Channel. You can view complete results from the 'North/South 100' online at

The Josh McGuire Racing team is scheduled to debut a new C.J. Rayburn chassis tonight, August 15 at the Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio. The annual 'Ike Moler Memorial' is on tap tonight and a $3,000 top prize is up for grabs. The dirt-slinging action will then turn to the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening, August 16. The 'Fred Dillow Memorial' will be held tomorrow night at PRP and another $3,000 winner's check is on the line. You can view additional information about both races online at and
